As well as having a number of different investment businesses, including Octopus Ventures, Octopus Healthcare, Octopus Property and Octopus Energy Investments, we also have a retail fundraising division that focuses on product development (of existing products), distribution and operations, and a growth and innovation division, focused on ‘big ideas’ (totally new products or services).
We also operate ten centres of expertise – these are specialist central functions shared across our different businesses, covering disciplines such as People, Finance, Technology, Brand, Marketing and communications, and Change. These centres of expertise allow us to spread our most talented people across the different Octopus businesses, allowing us to work collaboratively and to share knowledge and best practice.
