About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Internal Business Development Manager to lead our Internal Business Development (IBDM) team and drive growth across our Residential Lending division.

This is a versatile role,for an experienced Internal Business Development Manager looking to develop their career in property finance. You will be provided with a high degree of autonomy, established funding lines, and an excellent financial reward (with discretionary quarterly and annual bonus payments). 

This role comes with excellent growth opportunities within a busy and exciting team. The pathway and progression for this role could be into a client-facing position. Initially, relationships are phone-based, and you'll support our External Business Development Managers.

The team

You’ll be joining an experienced and well-established Sales function of 5 people. It is a fun, fast-paced and successful team that is part of a wider Residential Lending team, including Credit and Client Servicing functions.

Lead & Inspire:

  • Coach and develop Internal BDMs to hit individual and team targets.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.

Drive Growth:

  • Manage key intermediary accounts, delivering exceptional service and repeat business.
  • Provide indicative terms and support brokers through the application journey.

Collaborate & Strategise:

  • Align internal and external sales efforts with the Senior EBDM.
  • Work cross-functionally with Credit and other teams to ensure smooth deal progression.

Shape the Future:

  • Contribute to sales campaigns, process improvements, and strategic planning.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role in financial services—ideally property lending or bridging finance.
  • A track record of building and leading successful sales teams.
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills.
  • A customer-first mindset and KPI-driven approach.
