About the Role

What's in it for you?

As a member of the Investment Operations Team, you will be involved In all aspects of application processing, client data updates, cash matching, post distribution, document management, client withdrawals and much more.  You will move between the four teams depending on where the volume is.  

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and fast-learning individual who thrives in a team environment and can adapt quickly to changing priorities. You’ll be trained across multiple processes, so strong listening skills and the ability to take clear, useful notes are essential.

The team:

Our Operations function is structured into four specialist teams: Cash Management, Client Onboarding, Client Account Operations and Middle Office/ Settlements

What you will be doing:

  • Managing client and adviser updates
  • Processing redemption requests
  • Overseeing cash management
  • Handling deceased account processing
  • Settling stock and cash transactions
  • Processing VCT buybacks
  • Managing applications processing
  • Investigating and resolving reconciliation breaks
  • Executing corporate actions
  • Supporting transaction reporting
  • Processing legal documents

Qualifications

Ideally you will have: 

  • Previous experience in a financial services organisation, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Financial qualifications desirable but not required (IOC, IMC, CII) 
  • Experience in a similar role within financial services desirable but not required.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure  
  • Accuracy: We are trusted with client’s money and data, so we have to be accurate, so we adhere to multiple regulations and keep up our good reputation.   
  • Focus: When volumes spike, we need someone who can concentrate and commit fully to getting the job done.
