About the Role

As a key member of our Investment Operations Team, you’ll gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of operational processes that keep our business running smoothly. From application processing and client data updates to cash matching, post-distribution, document management and client withdrawals, you’ll be at the heart of delivering exceptional service.

The team

Our Operations function is split into five specialist teams – Cash Management, Client Onboarding, Client Account Operations, Settlements, and Middle Office – and you’ll have the opportunity to rotate across four of these areas, building a broad skill set and deep understanding of our end-to-end processes. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same, offering variety, challenge, and the chance to develop your career in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing client redemption requests
  • Managing client and adviser updates
  • Handling cash management tasks
  • Processing deceased accounts
  • Settling stock and cash transactions
  • Managing VCT buyback processes
  • Processing applications
  • Resolving reconciliation breaks
  • Supporting corporate actions
  • Transaction reporting
  • Handling legal documentation

Qualifications

What you'll ideally have

  • Previous experience in a financial services organisation, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Financial qualifications desirable but not required (IOC, IMC, CII) 
  • Experience in a similar role within financial services desirable but not required.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure  
  • Accuracy
  • Focus: When volumes spike, we need someone who can concentrate and commit fully to getting the job done.
