About the Role

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and friendly to work alongside our Sales team. The position is responsible for providing a great service to both Financial Advisers and internally to our business development managers (BDMs)

You would be working with a small number of BDMs where your responsibilities would include ensuring activity is logged correctly and promptly into the CRM tool, sending out any follow up literature, producing illustrations and at times responding directly to advisers with answers to their questions.  

Essential Job Functions

  • Deliver consistent and reliable support service to Financial Advisers and the BDM Team 
  • Responding to requests from BDMs and advisers
  • Record meeting notes onto the CRM system
  • Complete meeting follow up with Financial Advisers for External BDMs including the sending out of literature
  • Produce client illustrations within agreed timescales
  • First-rate communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Assist the Events Manager in the organisation of seminars and events
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to learn about Octopus products
  • Provide adviser feedback to BDMs
  • Proactively build relationships with colleagues and communicate effectively
  • Embed efficient working practises and communicate internally and externally in a professional manner
  • Support senior team members to help implement initiatives within the business
