About the Role

We're looking for a dynamic Internal Business Development Manager to drive growth across our Residential Lending division.

This role comes with excellent growth opportunities within a busy and exciting team. The pathway and progression for this role could be into a client-facing position. Initially, relationships are phone-based, and you'll support our External Business Development Managers.

The team

You’ll be joining an experienced and well-established Sales function of 5 people. It is a fast-paced and successful team that is part of a wider Residential Lending team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage, build and nurture relationships with existing and new brokers alike, providing indicative terms over the phone/ via email, and follow-up on prospective deals to see them through to successful application.
  • Focus on developing long-term relationships with brokers that deliver repeat business, whilst providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • We’re always trying to work smarter - you’ll play a key role in implementing new sales and marketing campaigns, whilst improving your effectiveness as an IBDM

Qualifications

✅ Proven experience in a sales role in financial services - ideally property lending or bridging finance

✅ A customer-first mindset and KPI-driven approach - you’ll be able to demonstrate success in a KPI/targeted sales environment

✅ Strong relationship management and communication skills
