Octopus Healthcare expands Clinical Assurance Board
Octopus Healthcare, a leading UK healthcare property investor and developer, today announces that it has appointed Sheila Hendy as a Clinical Assurance Director.
Sheila will sit on the Clinical Assurance Board which Octopus Healthcare established last year with the objective of promoting a culture of best practice in clinical assurance across its portfolio of investments. The Board monitors, assesses and acts on clinical matters relating to healthcare investments managed by the group.
As a registered nurse, Sheila brings with her over 25 years of healthcare experience at both a local and national level. Sheila most recently held the position of Director of Governance at Cancer Partners UK, where she was responsible for risk management, business contingency planning, Health & Safety, Information Governance, Policy and Regulation training, in addition to third party contract negotiating. Prior to this she was Director of Governance and Risk at BMI The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle, in addition to 16 years at BUPA where she held a number of positions including most notably, National Risk Manager covering 26 hospitals.
