Octopus Investments appoints new Director of Institutional Relationship Management

Hiti Singh joins the fast-growing fund management business to support the company’s growing activity in the institutional investment market

Octopus Investments, the fast-growing UK fund management business, has announced that Hiti Singh has joined its Institutional Funds team in a newly created role as Director of Institutional Relationship Management.

Until recently, Hiti was a Portfolio Director at CDC, the UK’s Development Finance Institution and fund-of-funds focused on investments in Africa and South Asia. At CDC, Hiti led fund and co-investment commitments exceeding US$1 billion to various strategies including Infrastructure, Real Estate, Agribusiness, Generalist Private Equity, Venture Capital and Microfinance.

Prior to CDC, Hiti worked at Morgan Stanley in London where she was a part of the founding team for the Microfinance Institutions Group within Fixed Income. She started her career with Accenture focusing on Financial Services Strategy with Capital Markets clients. 

This is a new role within Octopus’ growing Institutional team and Hiti will focus on the firm’s upcoming fundraisings across key sectors including Renewable Energy, Healthcare Infrastructure, Short Term Commercial Property Finance, Venture Capital and Growth/Mezzanine capital.  Hiti will also be supporting the strategic direction of the wider Institutional Funds team.
