Octopus Real Estate, part of Octopus Group and a leading UK specialist real estate lender and investor, has strengthened its development lending team with the appointment of Andy Scott to Head of Residential Development.
Andy will be taking the senior role in the development lending team and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the team and expansion of the product base. Andy joins from Secure Trust Bank, where he was Head of Real Estate Finance for the Midlands and South division. He has previously worked at Santander, Lloyds and HBOS.
To date the development lending team has focused on supporting customers who operate in the residential and student accommodation sectors and is working on expanding its product offering further into the development of other asset classes.
