The Anchor – What does mental health mean to you?

7 Oct 2019

World Mental Health Day is fast approaching. The day reiterates the importance of focusing on mental wellbeing, not just now, but all year round. Mental health is as important as physical health, and we treat it as such at Octopus. We want everyone in our team to feel comfortable talking about mental health and taking the time they need to look after their own mental wellbeing.

Mental health, as a term, means something different to everyone. To kick off our series focusing on mental wellbeing, we asked some of the Octopus team to tell us what the term means to them. Answers were varied, as you’d expect, ranging from mental health as a spectrum, a feeling of lightness and positivity, or allowing yourself to not necessarily feel OK all of the time.

In this clip, Caitlin from Octopus Renewables, Toni from Digital Marketing, Simon from Octopus Investments, Uliana from Octopus Real Estate, Ben from the Retail Investment team, Mona from Digital Marketing, Ed from Octopus Investments, and Simon Rogerson, the CEO and co-founder of Octopus, discuss their views on mental health.
