Octopus Real Estate, part of Octopus Group and a leading UK specialist real estate lender and investor, has strengthened its care home fund management team with the arrival of Chris Wishart as Director of Origination.
Chris will take a leading role in Octopus Real Estate’s care home investment team, finding and delivering elderly and specialist care real estate acquisitions for its institutionally backed funds.
Octopus Real Estate’s market-leading care homes team currently manages a portfolio of 60 modern, purpose-built homes, including 9 properties under construction, with a market value of over £750 million.
Chris joins from Savills, where he has been a Director in the healthcare practice since 2017. Prior to this Chris was a Partner at Knight Frank where he was instrumental in building a market leading healthcare consultancy team.
