Octopus Investments, the fast-growing UK fund management business, has announced that Hiti Singh has joined its Institutional Funds team in a newly created role as Director of Institutional Relationship Management.

Until recently, Hiti was a Portfolio Director at CDC, the UK’s Development Finance Institution and fund-of-funds focused on investments in Africa and South Asia. This is a new role within Octopus’ growing Institutional team and Hiti will focus on the firm’s upcoming fundraisings across key sectors including Renewable Energy, Healthcare Infrastructure, Short Term Commercial Property Finance, Venture Capital and Growth/Mezzanine capital.  Hiti will also be supporting the strategic direction of the wider Institutional Funds team.

Alistair Seabright, Managing Director at Octopus, said:

“Hiti brings in-depth knowledge of the institutional investment industry, strong relationships and has a strong understanding of these investors’ needs, all of which will prove invaluable as we build on our relationships with institutional investors and raise awareness globally of our specialist investment skills.”

Hiti Singh said:

“I am looking forward to working with the team at Octopus to develop our relationships with institutional investors.
